Morning folks.

This morning I woke from a fun Kimmy Schmidt dream to news of death in London.

So I almost didn't post the new page today.

What we're doing here seems so trivial and silly compared to people being murdered and hurt in London over night. Or everywhere every damned day of the week.

And the self-doubt comes in.

"Who do you think you are putting so much energy into a comic book that will not change the way people think, that won't save lives, that won't change the world?"

"Why do you think people will want to read about a gorilla superhero when they're worried about the lives of their family and friends?"

"What are you really doing to leave the world in better condition than when you got here?"

And I don't have any answers to any of those questions.

I just don't know.

But what I do know is I'm not going to let anyone, terrorists, politicians, whoever, I'm not going to let them use fear to stop me living my life.

Right now, all I know is making this comic. And as tempting as it is to slump into depression, or argue with people on the internet about guns, or drown in the 24 hour news channels reporting on it all, I gotta make this comic.

I don't know if I'm making any sense. I have a couple friends in the area I haven't heard from so I'm a little stressed and worried. Which means I'm probably ranting.

I guess what I'm saying is...

If you were planning on going to the comic book shop today? Just go to the comic book shop. If you were planning to watch the new Power Rangers flick? Just go watch them giant robots fight giant monsters.

I'm not saying in the slightest that we should ignore what's happened in London, and what continues to happen all around the world all the time.

Yes, feel for them, discuss the violence and hate. But as soon as you're too scared to go about your regular life, those bastards have won.

So here we are.

Your fortnightly page of Gorilla my Dreams.

Page #6. Wow have we really come this far already?

Thanks so much for reading guys. I do this for you. And I do really value your interest here.

Well, let me know what you think of the page, and we'll talk again soon.

Be good to each other folks.

Big Tim.
